If I could give this story 3.5 stars I would. I enjoyed the plot and was caught up the Red versus Silver class system. I especially enjoyed watching Mare Barrow as she tries to navigate her way through all the deceptions and her own naivete. I did catch on to one of the main deceptions fairly quickly but it did not detract from the overall story or the flow.

If the next book in the series comes out fast enough I am sure I will read that one. On the other hand if it takes years I suspect I will lose interest. Which is why I would only give it 3.5 stars versus 4
